I’ve been doing this work my whole life, and I still hear the same frustration from homeowners: they can’t find a contractor who tells them the truth about what a project actually needs and then follows through without cutting corners.

My name isCharles Brown. I picked up a hammer at 15 years old, working carpentry on new home sites, and I’ve spent my entire career in and around Wake, Johnston, and Durham counties; this is home. Early in my career, I renovated some of the historic homes in downtown Raleigh’s Oakwood and Boylan Heights neighborhoods, where you learn fast that careless work doesn’t get a second chance in a house that old. 

Over the years, we’ve built nightclubs and bars too, but more and more, our work has shifted toward the renovations homeowners live with every single day: tiled walk-in showers, full bathroom remodels, and kitchens.

After 30+ years in this business, we’ve completed 500+ projects, and 90% of our clients say they’d hire us again, which matters more to me than any single job.

I believe renovation work should be built on honesty, craftsmanship, and reliability, not upsells and guesswork.
